I know U notch's are good and stamped LE are illegal but from what I understand if a hi cap magazine only has the one notch for thr right handed mag release there is no way to proove it one way or the other so you could never be prosecuted. Obviously some models/calibers are clearly post ban and the Gen 4 mags with the double cut away are clearly post ban because they were simply not made years ago. Can anybody confirm this or comment? Again from what I understand even if say a G17 mag was post ban yet only had the one notch on the side rather than 2 it could never be proven in a court of law that his magazine was not pre ban. I know Ive seen a "pre ban" hi cap at four seasons you couldnt tell the difference between that one and a newer post ban.
