How do I search my PMs?

Have years and years of them - how can I search them without getting forum results mixed in?

Ask and you shall receive. Use the search box while in your inbox and you can now search your conversations. There are additional options available in the 'advanced search' section as well, if you need more precise controls.

I had a string of conversations with an old user who seems to have disappeared. Is there a way for me to see those again?

It depends on why they disappeared... sometimes everything associated with said user is disappeared as well. If you send me a PM with details, I can see what I can dig up.
