How did you observe Veterans day?

A work buddy and I hiked up Camel's Hump in Vermont (4083 ft). It was snowy, and I learned that I need crampons and hiking poles. (I did have a stick). Then I laid down on the couch and waited for pizza to come to replace all of the vitamins I lost on the hike.

No, I did want to visit the site, but I didn't know where it was at the time. First time on the mountain. I did read the history of the crash and about the gentlemen that survived and it is truly amazing.

I went to the range with a gun virgin. First-timer shooter - we started off with my .22, then a 9mm, .223, 7.62x54R, and lastly a 12ga. In between there, Ken (the only other person there that day - nice guy) let us shoot a few rounds with his .45. That evening I worked the overnight shift.
