How are the gardens?

So far this season I've

-added an additional 10'x10' section to my garden,
-laid over some good composted cow poop, and
-double dug my rows (I don't have a tiller, and I figure as long as my back is still strong, I'll do my best to eschew machines and do it the old fashioned way)
-put up a chicken wire fence to hopefully keep the rabbits out
-planted out my first set of lettuce, peas, beans and carrots.
-started a compost tea made with last years compost, kelp, blackstrap, and sardines. I'll probly start using it to water the plants in July.
-planted in pots most of my herbs.

Most of my started from seed plants are looking pretty rough. I had them out for hardening last month and the temp dropped while I was at work and the cotyledon on my tomatoes and eggplant went straight to hell, but the true leaves seem ok, if slow growing. I planted a backup tray, the eggplant seems ok, but the tomatoes are leggy. I'm not sure they'll be in big enough to transplant in time. I need a better indoor light source too. My mother is redoing some windows on her house, I might keep the old ones and build a cold frame for next year.
