House Passes AWB; Senate Up Next

Don't even say that. Heck, they could just raid their houses and "find something". When will the populace stand up and fight all this?
Never. Too much fluoride in the water, GMO food, and slavish attention to watching vaxxed millionaires run around chasing a ball, internet porn, video games, dumbing down in public schools and Marxist indoctrination for the past 100+ years, Medical tryanny (pimps to Big Pharma) pushing forced inoculation, and the MSM and Big Tech controlling the media telling us what we should believe (hint: it's not the Truth). Most people don't know about real privation, have no preparedness skills, and will not get off their arses and do anything until it's too late (were already at that point).

Which is why I feel like an island. I do none of that but the vast majority of lemmings are singing this in lock step:

Most people are as empty headed as those toys.

Usually if I am posting Twitter content here I do it as a screen shot unless there is embedded content like video.

In this case I am posting the actual Tweet so that if you have a Twitter account you might re-Tweet this. I know the bill will go nowhere legislatively, but more people should know that they are trying to arm every bureaucratic arm of the Government for deadly force while at the same time disarming the people.

Adding it with the link cuz Twitter doesn't seem to be rendering here right now.

Too late, they already built their arsenal.

Yeah another republican fund raising gimmick. If they retake the house in November then you know what will happen with this bill? It will get shoved into a shredder. If it gets refiled when they retake power, shove it down the democrats throats, attach national reciprocity and a few other things and ram it down their throats.

Our of all the Rs I feel like Massie at least puts in an honest effort.

When the Rs get power they need to ram everything down the democrats throats. To hell with this hide in your turtle shell and do nothing republicanism.

Did you ever notice when you turn the light on RATS they all run to the same corner and try to hide behind each other. This what we have in DC both R's and D's

The real problem is the part of the population that is saying “when will the populace stand up?” Isn’t standing up. So I’m not sure what anyone who is asking that question expects will be done because we aren’t doing anything either. “When will somebody besides me do something about this thing thing that I wish something was being done about?” Is what’s really being asked.

I’m not pointing fingers here, because I’m in the same boat. This is just an observation. But nothing is going to be done because we aren’t willing to do the things that we’re judging others for not doing. There’s your answer.

TPTB have done a great job of squashing any sense of unity among a good chunk of the population. No one wants to be the only guy running out of the house with a rifle with no one else in sight. How many videos are online of people getting the shit kicked out of them while surrounded by people who are thinking "Not my problem". If no one has your back while youre dealing with a couple of hood rats, do you think thats going to change when its ATF or the FBI who is posing the threat? Add to that the fact that anyone who dares to speak out is labeled a domestic terrorist by one end of the spectrum and a Fed by the other, and I dont see any way White Americans at least will ever form a unified front.

The pattern has been when the Rs have house, senate and POTUS, they fight internally about stupid shit and nothing gets done.

Thinking about the chances of the Pukes lifting a finger to do anything to help their constituents <<<lots of regular Americans....

10 city Canadian study found correlation between higher fluoride levels in pregnant mothers and subsequent lower IQ for their kids 3-4 years later compared to the kids w/o fluoridated mothers. The correlation = causation crowd loves this one. Probably has more to do with socioeconomic factors in urban environments than fluoride, IMHO.

I'm going to extrapolate on this one a little and bring it back on topic. There are studies that show smart people move from rural areas to the cities, then to the suburbs. We all know the major urban areas are the hub of anti-2A sentiment. So all the stupid people left in the cities are the ones supporting this crap and anti-2A is basically a by-product of Idiocracy. There might be a few smart holdouts in the cities- and they have a NES name. [smile]

Resident idiot checking in - the theory makes sense to me!

Aero definitely GTG. Rather than jam up this thread with the particulars, here's this week's panic buy project fueled by some Mrs. Mountain arm twisting: Aero M5 'Project' - Sub MOA Made Simple

1659819337890-png.646914

The heavy weight, VG6 brake, and squishy butt pad make it a relatively soft shooter- perfect for Mrs. Mountain.

Folks, don't wait- do it! [rofl]
Nice group on the right - was it with stock ammo?

My best friends father in law had a hunting cabin way up in NH. The Stone family lived next door. He brought them turkeys on Thanksgiving and always shared his kills with them. He always wanted to be in his good side. Before that they used his place as a Bang House. They would show up at 3am, shithoused to say hi. They didn’t believe in private property. When some guy from NYC tried to explain it to them, they burned his cabin down. The sheriffs came by and they disappeared into the woods for months. They hunted whenever they wanted and no game warden could catch them. They are the definition of ungovernable. No teeth but ungovernable lol
This is universal, the most stupid move is to antagonize the locals against you. But, if they are set on perceiving you as a pray and your stuff as a score - good luck.

Reloads. 168 SMK's and Varget, Lapua brass, CCI large rifle primers.

Better trigger and thorough cleaning of the barrel, maybe just a little more break-in and perhaps I can consistently shoot bug holes at 100 or at least most of the time get 1/2 MOA groups.

I got pretty good results with 175gr SMK - but probably will settle with 168gr just due to the price diff. 175 groups just a tad bit better, but still not a hole, cloverleaf at 100.

Overall I think price/performance wise a BA barrel in an aero m5 is damn great.

I have found that to get decent velocity with 175's the resulting recoil feels significantly higher than with 168's and actually I prefer 155's for paper punching games 300 yards or less with 308 caliber. The only time I use 175's is for matches with a 600 yard stage and a location known to have tricky wind issues. In still or at least consistent conditions I'd just use 168's at 600.

Glad to continue the discussion, but let's move it to the 308 AR thread. ;)

And while we want things that wont happen you want another vette given to you for free?

No place to keep it. Let's be honest here. Democrats get things done, republicans do nothing. They offer pledges and support "I support the second amendment" and when they get power and have the ability to to do something they do nothing. They wag their finger at big tech with speeches full of pomposity that accomplishes nothing because 'they' don't want to get banned.

At this moment, right now, Chuck Schumer is having closed door meetings to pass this bill and come up with a way to get it passed with 51 votes. The dems don't freaking care what's 'constitutional' or not in fact they say it right out loud now. So if the repubs regain power they should ram the constitution down their throats sideway until it comes out of their a**holes and you want to know what they are going to do??? Nothing because now *they* have power and they want the donor dollars from defense contractors, big pharma, wall street, etc.

Voting for either political party right now is like choosing between death by slow poison (republicans) or death by fast poison (democrats). Some choice.

Agreed- with only a few exceptions this aptly describes the R's.

And how 'bout this one?

They are still busy crowing about the Bruen case which was a nice battle to win, but they seem absent in the overall war.

Didn't you see? They dropped a meme in response to the recent raid search. They're hip, with it, and leading (from the rear)!

And here we are today with liberal courts across the country snubbing their noses at the Bruen decision. Yeah some victory.
