i moved out west and joined a trap & skeet club on the outskirts of town. no pistol or rifle range and i wanted to test my new ipsc gun. asked the club manager if there was someplace on the property to do that. i could follow a cow path about 1/2 mile north until i came to the edge of the club property. manager says i'd find a pile of old pallets out there, i could hang a target off them. knowing i came from back east he asked me to please not shoot any cows i saw on the adjoining property. did i know what a cow was he asked me. son, have you seen a cow before? i thought he was kidding...he wasn't.
