Hi, my name is Adam, and I am a horrible speller..

Well, horrific is more accurate, but you get the idea.

This dawned on me just a minute ago replying to someone's message with a quote. I have been using this product for a while, actually about 3 years or so that is a plug-in for Internet Explorer. It will do a spell check for you after filling in a text box within an IE window. It's easy to use, all you have to do is right click anywhere inside the IE window after typing something and select the "Check Spelling" dialog box. It will do just that, check your spelling. You have the option to add words to your personal dictionary (Very helpful for screen names and gun terms), ignore, or replace with one of the suggested words. It works much the same as the spell checker in most document creation programs.

Well, I just got the idea to share it with the forum after I was doing a spell check on a post that I quoted and the original author had misspelled a word...

Anyway, it's called ieSpell and it can be downloaded and installed here.

Enjoy your now corret speelling :D

I am a good speller, but sometimes my fingers have a mind of their own.

I've been using ieSpell for a few years and it is excellent (but not perfect).

    Highly recommend it.

I generally use the Spellbound extension with Firefox.

I have my good days and bad days with spelling, just depends on whether the fingers are going quicker than the brain.(pretty easy to have happen lately.)

I have the Google tool bar. And it has a really good spell check...and an addable dictionary.

    I love it.

Most of my mistakes are done in the morning before the caffeine hits. The brain and the fingers just don't want to work together until then. [lol] [lol]

I have to agree with Mr. Beard. I think that posts with wacky typos and really bad spelling are just part of the fun. Please don't all start spell checking your posts [cry]

I only spell check at home as I can't get the Google toolbar to go through our firewall at work.
