Hoppes solvent varieties

I've seen the standard Hoppes #9, Hoppes #9 powder solvent, and Hoppes #9Bench Rest Copper Solvent.

I was wondering if anybody could clarify the difference between these solvents and in which case you would use one instead of the other.

I use the Bench Rest Copper on guns I've fired corrosive through. It has a good deal of ammonia in it.
