I'm looking for a holster for concealed carry. From what I've heard, to keep it as concealed as possible and comfortable, I probably want a leather belt holster.

Any recommendations and where to buy it?

I have a crossbreed supertuck and matching belt that I can wear all day and I can almost forget I'm wearing it.

Fist has some nice offerings, too.

It's a big help to have a nice stiff belt that matches the loops on your holster.

You'll probably end up like most of us, filling a box with them until you find one that works for you.

I use a Comp-Tac Minotaur MTAC and love it. It's an IWB holster with a leather backer and kydex pocket. It's an awful lot like the Crossbreed.

I recommend any/all of the following.

IWB:

Milt Sparks VMII (extremely comfortable) - long wait, not cheap but well worth it.
Milt Sparks Summer Special 2

Galco makes a knock-off of the MS SS2 - not as well made but decent and might be found in some gun shops.
Blade-Tech makes some nice ones in Kydex (UCH)

OWB:

I have this, I haven't warmed up to it yet. Mostly because it seems hard to get it adjusted where I like it; I need to give it more wear time to break in probably.

I like the Galco summer comfort, leather and simple on off. Plus if you also have a Glock it fits also.

Crossbreed super tuck deluxe in horse hide. I did the combat cut myself to make it exactly what I needed. midway USA with a coupon came to $71 shipped for a $89.99 holster worth every dime.

I recommend trying a couple types before you buy something - shows can be good for this.

I had a nice leather one but it didn't fit me comfortably - I got a Blade-Tech UCH for my full size, love it.

I tried a Comp-Tac style at a show and it was uncomfortable for me.

Search around in the Equipment forum - lots of discussion on this there, all around here actually.

good luck

I have a Comp Tac CTAC for that gun that I'll let go cheap.

It's just collecting dust in the box o' holsters.
