Hollow Points now bannable...

Sooo... the State is demanding that anyone who puts technical details about guns and ammo on the web first must get the OK from the federal government.

Eh, SCOTUS likes "reasonable" gun laws. If SCOTUS had to be logical, they'd follow the opinion in Miller and make select fire M4s civilian legal.

A. This is a mega dupe.
B. How does internet censorship equal banning hollowpoints?

ITAR rules misapplied to gun knowledge in order to circumvent the Constitution and the Congress. Back Door Gun Control. Pathetic progressives.

So is this just for San Franscisco? I read the link and it doesnt mention much outside of San Fran, this type of crap that I read whether true or not is disturbing, I can only imagine how far some of these antis want to go

Buy a drill press... make hollow points till your hands bleed.

Sure, you can do this. But...

a. Your centering of the hole, and weight, is unlikely to approach that of commercial manufacture

b. You will not get the engineered expansion capability achieved through optimization of jacked material/thickness, grooves cut/stamped into the jacket, etc.

c. You will not get the benefit of having the jacketed material swadged over the base of the bullet

Easier to just buy HP bullets in bulk for reloading.

Absolutely better with store-bought projos. I was thinking further down the line in a more "restricted" America....

Can't get there way the right way so they back door anything they can. Seems to be happening a lot lately.
