Sorry, I remember cheering for that school from some NCAA tournament upset way back. It's an all-black college in Baltimore, to give a little perspective.

It's my opinion that higher education will take the lead in removing our gun rights. The culture of the nation is set by education and higher learning is destroying our culture one word at a time. Add to that they are government funded even though they have no diversity in thought and huge money grants go to their science programs to back political agendas.

Our real problem in this country, the problem is our institutions of higher learning. They will lead the charge to take away guns and they could care less about or constitutional rights.

The power of higher education is growing out of control. They are government funded now and by guarenteed student loans they have control of government, students and banks. Plus there is no way to get those government jobs without a college education, what career doesn't require a college education now, that is a big power over the culture.

When the commies took over a country they first destroyed that countries government then they destroyed the universities because they knew if they wanted to change the culture then you had to get rid of higher ed. In my opinion we have a commie higher ed now and our gun rights are in their sites to be done away with.

He has been published in Salon, New York Times, The Guardian and other publications, and he is a frequent contributor on NPR, CNN, and elsewhere. He holds a master's in education from Johns Hopkins University and an MFA in creative writing from the University of Baltimore and teaches writing at Coppin State University. When I was in college I remember a few women friends who went to Mount Holyoke who were huge gun owners. I wasn't at the time, but at least I didn't go ewww, why do you like those things. One thing I have found is that I can find real life gun owners sometimes in the strangest of places.

Did you guys go to college? I spent 7 1/2 years at universities, and most students don't give a crap about their professors' political leanings. You mostly learn from your fellow classmates, who come in with a broad spectrum of leanings. The extreme left professors and students get the media time, but campuses overall aren't what you picture, except in schools that are magnets for these leftist types - Columbia, Brown, Wisc-Madison etc. I doubt many conservative students would even think of going to those schools.

Did you guys go to college? I spent 7 1/2 years at universities, and most students don't give a crap about their professors' political leanings. You mostly learn from your fellow classmates, who come in with a broad spectrum of leanings. Took 179 credits worth of technical courses to help me in my chosen occupation. Had a fine life and retired debt free with a modest income. How much is today's degree worth when there are no jobs, why are there no jobs? Bummer is a prime example of corrupt education, can't do his job and wants to take away guns yet top dog in college.
