I'm looking at a "sh" series Supermatic Citation with fluted barrel. It has been drilled and tapped. The former owner claims it was done at the factory but it doesn't look factory to me. Anybody familiar with these that could tell us if these were d&t at the factory or not?

I have three HS target pistols none of which were drilled at the factory. Mine are all from the old CT plant. If this is a newer one built in Houston it could be factory as I am unfamiliar with those. To the best of my knowledge I don't think any of the originals were drilled and tapped at the factory as no one was using optics for bullseye back when they were still in business in Hartford.

Owned a Victor and a Citation 2. Nice guns. Have a Military now that is older than dirt and in very nice condition. The Victor I bought from TX plant was #962 and wouldn't feed worth a crap.

I have an Olympic Citation (1970s). It doesn't have any holes. It appears that the person had a universal scope mount attached to the Supermatic that can be bought from Brownels. Note the two holes for the screws on the scope mount. The spacing on the holes appear to match those on the Supermatic.

Thanks all. That pretty much confirms what I already knew. The former owner has conceded.
