Looking to the NES brain trust for a little help finding a quality optic plate for a Springfield prodigy pistol
A little backstory, and why I included the word “quality” in my request.
Purchased this pistol a while back, and fell in love with it. Suits me perfectly.
I decided to throw a holosun EPS carry on it. I got a little deal on a CH precision plate along with it, and jumped. I did a little homework (not enough) and heard mixed reviews on the CH line of plates.
Anyways, took the gun out recently, and quickly learned it was shooting about a foot low at 10yds. Got home, and did a little research and found out that CH knowingly sells these plates with full knowledge that the rear sight milled onto their plate is SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the OEM rear sight on a prodigy. I emailed them, and got no response. But according to Reddit (grain of salt)… this is a known issue to buyers, but the seller doesn’t disclose it upfront. So, f*** CH altogether for that.
Does anyone know of a plate manufacturer that will properly mate a EPS carry to a Springfield prodigy without me need to scout a new front sight, or rely on no rear sight? Pretty pissed. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
