From sale of my T99 Arisaka, and budgetary allowences, I have decided to replace one of the pistols I have sold. This list is not exclusive yet, but the first ones I have located. In no particular order:

1. 1919 M05 Colt Police Positive .38 special with 6" barrel for target shooting
2. 1940 commercial M34 Mauser partial rig with holster
3. c. 1917 Mauser M14 with Imperial proof denoting Great War Service
4. 1942 M34 Beretta in .380

Please chime in with suggestions and/or opinions. I'd also consider another 9mm, but a Radom and Browning are too dear...the Beretta is probably in last place is it isn't in great shape.

Continuing to move in. Closing set for 6/22. Seems that more of my stuff is missing than on previous moves...

Very nice of you T!
Ok, lets go out drinking and get a couple of nice cigars...

OK fine. Get the Colt.

Torn between the two Mausers...WW2 is in exceptional condition, and the WW1 version screams old world quality...

The M34 does have a small chip out of the grip.

WWI; Imperial proof is in front of the rear sight.

Close to the same price for each; $725. M34 + holster vs. M14 with 2 magazines. Another magazine to complete the rig for the M34 will be another $130.

Another Imperial Contender...full rig on GunBroker for $500, EARLY 5 digit serial, 27K, c. 1915. Well used look. Saves me some cash for something else!

Not sure if serious .Asking NES to help spend your money?

(I'd go #2, but then if I had $800 to spend on a collectable pistol I would try and find a 1911 service )

I went for the 1915 M14 rig. At $524 shipped, couldn't pass it up. I have something left for who knows?

Anyone know of a good leather worker to repair the strap on the holster?
