Supposedly I've sold my Beretta here on the forum, and am trying to decide what to replace it with. Here are some possibilities and pictures. In no particular order....Total budget about $600...

1.
1916 French contract Savage .32acp full rig with holster and three magazines. Very interesting...I have a thing for .32s....

2.
M38 Carcano cavalry, half stock with attached pivot bayonet. German use and marked/as such. Since I'm part Italian I still feel the need to have a Carcano; German proof a bonus.

3.
1913 M05 Colt Police Positive in .38 special (lesser condition one)

4.
1924 M05 Colt Police Positive in .38 special (better condition)

5.
M13 Sauer .32acp, ~1918, no Imperial mark, but a unit or police mark, full rig

6.
Another Garand or Carbine...little short of cash for that.

7.
M41 Johnson (yeah, right:p)

8.
c. 1940 M34 Mauser go go with my M14 Mauser

9.
1943 CZ27/P14 .32acp partial rig; 1 magazine

10.
c. 1943 FN1922 under Nazi occupation

10a.
c. 1943, full rig; edge of price range

...any suggestions?

Those sound like some good options, but personally I have no experience with any of them. Regardless, I would go with the better condition colt positive.

Which one do you think about the most? Any 'holes' in you collection?
Personally, I always also try to factor in future resale when buying just in case I ever get in a pinch and need to free up money.

I'm leaning on the M13 Sauer; had to sell mine last year to pay medical bills...

How's your credit? Take a loan, Only go around once.

No credit from the B.O.W. (bank of wife); our home renovations are about to start.

Well I picked up the Sauer from the post office. Unfortunately there were a couple problems with it, and I had to send it back. The slide needed an assist about half the time to close and the safety was so tight as to be almost unusable.

So, still in the hunt...
