I've been unable to identify the pictured 7.62x63 / .30-06 rounds. These are the 'linked' bulk stuff, with both French and German markings on the outside of the crates (also pictured.)
There are no markings on any internal packaging, just what is shown.
I did deconstruct four, and measure OAL on a bunch more, those results will be in a second post.
I've looked in the commonly quoted ammo collecting and headstamp ID sites but can't come up with an origin for this stuff. Apparently from 1983, it has both metric/NATO nomenclature and ".30-06"
