There's a number of places that I would LOVE to go to, but some of them say there's no treaspassing, or you need to write for permission to enter the gounds (most of them were old state hospitals).

You should send that one in to them tele_mark. I've noticed that the list keeps getting updated.

There is a house in Lunenburg that is supposed to be haunted. It seems like the little girl who lived there started singing a song from the 18th Century. When the mother asked where she learned the song, she replied that the nice lady who comes and visits her during the night taught it to her. This account is in the published town history.

I'm up for visiting some sites.

    Regards,

    Mark

Okay guys...you've had some time to look over the places. Any ideas of when and where???? We should do it before there's 3 feet of snow on the ground. [wink]

    You're not too far behind.

And I was just giving her a hard time because there had to be a mistake for her same post to show up three times in a row. Man, tough room. :D

Well, when I go back to work that will slow down considerably. Just hoping I can find something else so I don't have to go back to work for the clueless idiot I currently work for.

Friday is supposed to be partly cloudy, but cold.

Anyone up for a ghost hunt on Friday? If we can pick a date, then we can go from there to where....

According to most liberals you don’t need a brain to be dangerous, just a gun.

[shock] <gak>....you mean I qualify for prove a liberals BS? In THAT case...I'll amend my comment to include that I have an IQ of 135. From my understanding, genius levels begin at 140. So there (if you're a liberal and was reading this and started to get all excited).

Never took time to look into it, until now. Scary, knowing what a couple people's IQ's are (they're over 140). I thought Genius was higher. That explains some things to me.

    http://www.wilderdom.com/intelligence/IQWhatScoresMean.html

    IQ Scores & Ratings

What is a good IQ score? What is a high IQ score? What is a low IQ score? These are common questions, particularly after someone finds out their score from an IQ test.

Lewis Terman (1916) developed the original notion of IQ and proposed this scale for classifying IQ scores:

Over 140 - Genius or near genius
    120 - 140 - Very superior intelligence
    110 - 119 - Superior intelligence
    90 - 109 - Normal or average intelligence
    80 - 89 - Dullness
    70 - 79 - Borderline deficiency
    Under 70 - Definite feeble-mindedness

I haven't had mine taken since I was in School or so. My mom didn't tell me what it was, but that I was in the 97% percentile. So whatever that score would be. I've never really cared about it because I don't think that it really means anything. Just because it's high, I don't think that it means that you're smart. Because I've talked to some people that just don't get the world, but man they are very smart when it comes to book things. Or quick thinking in math or what have you.

    Speaking of Danvers State Hospital

State police and Davers PD just dispatched there to a report of trespassers on the property. I hear they are giving jail time. Sounds likea government cover-up to me

Re: Speaking of Danvers State Hospital

No, it's not cover up. I knew some folks who did security there. The building is falling apart and parts of it are dangerous. People who've gone in there after dark have gotten hurt, and some hurt bad. They've had to crack down on the security and the only way to do that is to prosecute for trespassing. BTW - the guards that worked there have seen some strange things, including people looking out the window dressed in dowdy bathrobes, amoungst other things. One actually quit after seeing a woman walk through a wall...and he wasn't BS'ing.

Edited to add that since NS said "Danvers PD", I knew he was talking about the state hospital. :D
