    In other news,
Jack's spending on target backers has strangely decreased of late.

You probably do. It's just on your blind side!

Actually, I'm a little surprised it took so long for NES to get around to this topic. I've almost gotten used to these. And yes, if I were a robber, those are exactly the homes I'd invade.

Was forced on a detour in Pembroke,,,(ma) today and the first thing I saw was this BS,,,,
I didn’t know there was that kind of hate in Pembroke or most anywhere else
I wonder how loving they would be if some one just steamrolled the front door and decided to move in

Yesterday I rode Waldo in Southbury at sunrise. I had to run to a customer in Brookfield immediately following on a semi-emergency. I saw one on the way... in (surprise!) Sandy Hook. Just the regular heart-shaped one, not the one with the rainbow.

Know what bothers me the most about this? That it is implied that folks who don't display these political banners and declarations don't share the same beliefs.
I hate racism and bigotry. But I don't need to put up a yard sign to declare it to the world. I have always believed it better to judge a man by his actions, not his words. I don't care at all about a persons preferences, but why do you have to tell me? Why does that matter? I make no assumptions or judgements if I don't know about your partner. It is truly a non issue for me. I believe that if two people make each other happy, that's great. I simply don't care and really don't think it's any of my business.
I grew up in an almost all white town, but treated the few black kids the same as all the other kids. The way I figure it, is that none of us got to choose our color or ethnicity so it's not even worth mentioning. I feel the same about body types. I didn't pick my height or frame size. We all just have to play the cards we are dealt, why should we give any of that shit any notice?

However. I believe in honesty. When a group behaves badly, illegally or to the detriment of others, we should call them on their shit. And their color , gender, ethnicity etc. shouldn't be a consideration.
The guy that runs my shop, was born in Brazil. He came here legally, got his citizenship, worked hard, pays taxes, raised a beautiful family, is active in his church and community, and in my opinion contributes to this country. He despises illegals that milk the system. And I agree with him.

If you want to end racism and bigotry, stop f***ing talking about it. And stop caring about it. It's just about the biggest waste of time there is.

" Do as you wish, but harm no one." And be advised, if you try to bring harm my way, I don't give a frogs fat ass where you came from, who you pray to or who you chose to cohabitate with, you will bleed the same color red as every other ass hole. Just leave me alone and I will extend you the same courtesy.

Gotta love idiot lefties who know nothing about history. Wouldn't they think the fall of the Roman empire was a good thing? It was very tyrannical and well deserving of falling. Plus, the fall also involved invaders from all sides they called "barbarians", sort of like all the so-called "refugees" invading the US. Wouldn't they support savage hoards pouring in and making everything collapse?

It's already happening, people are being condemned for NOT virtue signaling or keeping their thoughts private...

It would truly look good sitting atop an extra large TRUMP 2020 lawn sign.

I can almost believe this. Got an example? Oh, and what exactly IS "virtue signaling"?

It's like being really into social justice, which is fine I guess, but then NOT SHUTTING UP ABOUT being really into social justice.

Like when Brad Pitt built all those Katrina homes. I'm all in favor of people getting roofs over their heads, but Pitt was very careful to make sure the entire world knew it was HIM putting those roofs over peoples' heads. Building those houses? That's being virtuous. Being loud about your virtue? That's virtue signalling.

These stupid signs are a perfect example.

The important element with virtue signaling is the signaling, not the virtue (which can be entirely absent). Those signs are the classic example.

Taylor Swift was taking lots of criticism from people for not talking politics, that's the most obvious example I can think of. In other words some people were pissed that she wasn't whining about political bullshit like every other famous person.

Virtue Signaling = generic outrage about (often) meaningless political bullshit, and 9 out of 10 times the person doing it is not affected by it nor does anything beyond the signaling act. The signs cited in this thread are a great example. Bonus points if the person espousing it is a hypocrite on the issue, too.

Or another classic example.... Some broad has a gay pride sticker on her car but has no gay friends/family and is heterosexual. That's full retard virtue signaling. The only reason she has that sticker us to advertise "look at how progressive I am" [rofl]
Yeah and the best part is none of those broads would likely actually host a refugee in their house....

Another classic: all those college girls who go through a "pan sexual" "bi" phase and end up with a guy 6 months later.
