But I have a buddy that had a bolt lock on one of his because he forgot to clean his rifle after shooting corrosive ammo. But he said that all he did was break it apart with some mystery oil, then cleaned the hell out of it... Then it was working again.

I've got one rifle (M24 Finnish Mosin Nagant) that the bore looks like a sewer pipe because of it, but it was that way when I got it.

ALL ammo till the 40's was corrosive to some extent. Use soapy HOT water or windex with ammionia and you will be fine. Oil it up afterwards.
