Ok, I've never put a bipod on a rifle before, but I just picked up my new Remington 700 PSS LTR in .308! I wanna put a nice Harris Bipod on it.

From what I see on some websites, the L Model adjustable from 9"-13" seems to be the most popular. Has anybody from here had good experiences with these and this model before?

Also, I can't find anything online about whether I need an adapter for the bipod...I don't believe I do, but just curious if anyone has any info.

i have a 6-9 on my LTR,

but it is personal prefference.
what I did was measure the height of the bag I was using for a rest

for me 6-9 works well for prone and on the bench

no adapter needed

The bipod works awesome, I would definately recommend it
