Not Harbor Freight, but comparable if not better than the cart being discussed. I bought the Kobalt 3000 mechanics cart for $139 at Pembroke Lowes this morning. There is one left. Aisle 13 Electrical, top rack to your left if looking at back of store. I've been following the clearance price on these and nobody in the store realized they were that cheap, so an employee might have snatched the last one, but it was there when I left.

Have to set your store to Pembroke to show clearance price. I have two Kobalt 3000 chests and a 44" US General(Harbor Freight) and I like the Kobalt 3000 series a little better, but both are close in quality.

Picked up a couple of the Bunker Hill plastic ammo boxes this week. $6.99 / with coupon $3.99 each plus tax. Girl said limit one so walked out, and came back to ring me up again with second coupon which gave her a good laugh.

Filled the tool box. Emptied the cabinets into 3 Regency shelf units with about a full shelf unit to spare. Now I need warmer weather to pull the cabinets out and finish up. Will post before/after when done.

Must suck to be you -
my EMail coupon (41348677) sent 9:44AM this morning sez:
    ...
    LIMIT 8 • VALID thru 1/20/19*
    (Coloration and casing, theirs).

ETA: Is the Donk House of Representatives starting a run on ChiCom ammo boxes?
Are the HF clerks skimming them out of inventory with their employee discount,
to sell off the loading dock to friends and family?

I grabbed 6 in Danvers with a coupon that came in the flyer for $2.99 ea. last week. The cashier gave me the coupon back too. One guy behind me had like 10 in a cart. She did the same for him too. Never said anything about any limit .

But truth be told, there was some point where I either squinted to make sure I wasn't going to cross some line in the sand, or was so acquisitive that I checked to find out how many I could get away with buying on one coupon.

I'd brained about this (God help us).
    I haven't worked retail,
    and I haven't programmed a point-of-sale system,
    but...

    I don't think the coupons have per-product/per-customer unique ID's.
If HF were run by Amazon they would, sigh.

(Hell, if it were run by Google,
they'd secretly spray a UV ink tattoo on your forehead
as you bent over to work the credit card reader).

But HF's computers might just be smart enough
    to maintain a per-customer per-coupon count.

They EMail me a copy of my sales slip almost before I can get home.

Imagine you wanted to, say, equip an entire Cub Pack
with .30 cal ammo boxes as cheep/sturdy tackle boxes
for a fishing weekend. I would not-N-O-T-not commit to that
on the assumption that my $2.99 Super(-Duper) Coupon
could be used for multiple 8-box buys over the course of a weekend
at the same Harbor Freight; or even across several different New England stores.

The store manager might make an exception for a legit Cub Scout sob story.

But if you'd played that U-turn/I-want-to-buy-another-box game,
the cash register might have vapor locked at the 9th buy
in a way that not even the clerk had seen before.

I can't fake a quote, but I seem to recall a clerk at Amherst, NH telling me he/they didn't GAF.
(Yes, that violates my coupon-tracking theory above).

I don't think he teased me with "you want to grab a few more?",
but I can't rule it out categorically.

I'm not doubting it happened to LWMcQ,
but if the same clerk is there scant seasons from now,
she probably wouldn't blink an eye at selling two boxes at once per coupon.

She's already mature enough to LOL at the out-the-door-
    oops-came-in-to-buy-another routine.

Or she thinks you're Teh Cute.

(I don't think she was power tripping.
I'm imagining she innocently thought she was enforcing
an Important Rule, that would keep her employed.
And nowadays, ain't that rare as hen's teeth?)
