Happy 4th! - complete with bomb check - really!

Wife and I drove our antiques in the Duxbury parade. Dash thermometer said 108F. Only 21% humidity; guess that's something. Managed to complete the parade without overheating, WITH A/C on, but the temperature was pretty well maxed out at the end. Won first place amongst the antique cars. Also was the first time my car was ever checked for a bomb(!). I guess it's a sign of the times.

cool.... and not so cool. Did they do a single screening for bombs of all the folks along the parade route.
one year they walked a "dog" along the route. Did not really seem to be "looking" for anything.
