Well I wanted to thank all of those you attended the shoot this past weekend. It was by far the safest MG shoot anywhere, compaired to all the others I've done or been to in the past. I have heard nothing but great reviews, and appreaciate those reviews deaply. We put in a lot of work in a short amount of time to get this planned and pulled off. I was on site literally from noon friday till 1pm Monday (some of you might have noticed my "residence" parked off to the side of the range).

The line also ran nice and smooth I would be surprised if anyone who wanted to shoot, had to wait 10 minutes max, huge improvement over the hour waits of years past.

That is not to say we didn't have some problems pop up, and issues that need working out for next year. I am sorry for those who had good size ammo orders, the ammo vender broke down on the way hand didn't get on site until Saturday evening. I also understand a vernder or two for the gun show backed out last minute... As well due to a staffing shortage we couldn't open the lower "snack shack".

But honestly I would consider the event to have been a great success, especially considering the limited a mount of time we had to get it together. So a huge thanks to all you who helped spread the word, and who came to to the event. All the planning in the world wouldn't have meant anything if no one showed up to shoot/watch...So thanks, and see ya next year!

I need a nap, now[wink]

Chris -
I won't speak for others, but "THANK YOU!"
You did an awsome job bringing a shoot back to Massachusetts.

I know we discussed it last year, when the shoot was cancelled, and the general opinion was, once cancelled, gone forever.

You didn't let that happen and I can't imagine how much work it took.

Thank you again, and see you NEXT YEAR!!!

Mike
btw: Funny story: A friend was at the shoot on Saturday, and he brought his parents, who are from Texas. The old man says, "Damn - I though we liked guns in Texas. I've never seen something like this before."
I replied. "Be sure to tell all of your friends back at home that you went to a machine gun shoot in Ted Kennedy's back yard."

Chris, you and Greg did an outstanding job! You really put a lot together in a very short time.

I had a great time, even though I was working as an R.O.

I had a great time, got to shoot a M1919, a MP5 and a Krink.
My buddy who came with me shot a MG42, AK47 and one more I can't remember.

We'll definitely be back next year.
