Handgun Deer Season In CT!!!

I don't know if any of you are aware, but in the last legislative session they passed a law opening up 2 months (!!!) to handgun hunting for dear.

There are a bunch of mostly reasonable requirements.

1) 10 acres, private land, like a rifle
2) 5.75" min bbl length
3) revolvers and single shot only
4) straight walled calibers only
5) .357 mag minimum

Season Nov 1, to Dec 31. I can't believe it, its longer than rifle season. Fantastic.

I have my 44 and a place in CT to hunt. NICE !!! I'll get my out of state license for CT, if I can afford it.

There are so freakin many deer in NW Ct, it's unreal. There was even a buck in N Canaan a few years ago that would chase cars. NO REALLY ! He would hang out in this same field, usually out just before dusk. He would run along the side of the road next to your car and make hooking motions toward the car with his rack. It was hilarious. he disappeared after a couple weeks of doing this. Go figure.

When he was chasing cars, was it November/December?? They get kindof unpredictable durring the rut.
