NMC is a National Match Course: 50-shot for a possible 500pts; 10 standing, 10 sitting rapid, 10 prone rapid, and 20 prone slow

RMC is a Regional Match course: 80-shot for a possible 800; 20 standing, 20 sitting rapid, 20 rapid prone, and 20 slow prone

Could you clarify "indoor NMC"? Is it basically just a regular NMC shot on really, really, really reduced targets on an indoor range?

(I sometimes practice my offhand indoors, and it's... pretty loud. A whole indoor range full of .30 shooters would be stunning!)

It's done with .22 conversion kits or uppers. Score is based on group size.

RMC stands for Regional Match Course. In this case it's an 80 shot match. Some of them are 100 shots though. You can read a little bit more about it on the NRA getting started webpage.

There are a variety of rifles that can be used. Most popular is typically an AR-15, but there are people that shoot other rifles.
