Technically pretty much everything is the same age, dating from the Big Bang.
What is significant is it's something that HAS NOT CHANGED all that time.
Hype ? Of course. So are Natural Diamonds.
This is very true that all matter is as old as of the big bang. However, if the maxim that matter cannot be created or destroyed is true, the age old question is, where did all the matter come from in the first place and were there previous big bang cycles?
