Guns Banned at 'FEMA City' Outside Baton Rouge
A Second Amendment group is expressing "shock and disbelief" that people seeking refuge at a FEMA compound outside Baker, La., may not bring their firearms with them. According to a report that aired on the Lehrer News Hour, displaced New Orleans residents are being allowed to move into a trailer and RV compound called "FEMA City," but the conditions for residency include a ban on firearms.

Intolerable as it may seem it is nothing new. Federal disaster planning going back to pre Cuban missile crisis days included the forced or coerced surrender of firearms;vehicles;boats;food and medical supplies. If you go to the king and ask for his grain expect to pay his price. Best to be able to stand on your own as much as is possible.
