Burglars drop five guns as they flee Al's Army Navy in Sanford

Burglars broke into Al's Army Navy Store in Sanford about 4 a.m. today but dropped five guns they were trying to steal when they saw police lights approach, authorities and the store manager reported.

Police say the thieves failed to get away with any guns.

Near the backdoor, authorities recovered four pistols and one semiautomatic rifle, an AR-15,
