I'm sure this has been discussed over and over (especially this time of year), but someone I work with who works part time at Lowes gave me the heads up that they are already honoring Black Friday prices for the Centurion (by Liberty Safe) 12 cu. ft safe for $297, plus another 10% if you sign up for the 'moving discount coupon) either online or get it from your post office.

I'm still in the holding pattern for my LTC to be processed, for but for the cost (and discount for the 'moving coupon), I pulled the trigger.

I bought that same safe at Lowes during the summer on sale for just over $300. I've been happy with it, I thought it would last me forever but it seems to be getting smaller. I never thought I'd own so many guns in such a short time.

In the same way that "no one suspects the spanish inquisition", no one thinks the guns will multiply so quickly. I am here to tell you, that is just not true. Guns put rabbits to shame.

Yeah, and Lowes made it easy by actually calling it a "gun safe", rather than the common big box trick of calling it an "Executive Safe" (WTF is that anyhow?) in their literature despite the pictures of guns lined up in photos int he manufacturer's literature. I suggest you keep a copy of the web posting in case you have to raise the sales tax issue with Lowes corporate. or the DOR.

(funny story: A liberal I work with asked me if DOR stood for "Department Of Roads")

There ALL sold out.

Ended up with a 10gun F&S Sportsman fire safe at Dicks today. $299 Sale ends tomorrow.
