I feel the same about the delivery counter charging $850 for the sam glock that was rode hard and put away wet. There is a market for all

15 20 years ago I'd be more inclined to agree that you just pay whatever you have to but there all kinds of open alternative options now. To put things in perspective the worst dealer at the Mill that you could walk into would have probably still charged @chris_1001 friend $100-150 LESS than what he paid. Without even trying hard.

As a generality otherwise. I kind of agree with you with regards to the money not meaning a whole lot. I probably overpaid for my DW by 150 to 200 bucks from the dealer I got it from but I've done an enormous amount of business with that dealer and the offset on the back end from all the other guns I got from him at a great prices was more than worth it. People gotta eat, too. It's worth noting though that even in that case that's not nearly as much of rape as @chris_1001 friend got. And that was actually an $1,600-$1900 handgun not a commodity gun like a Glock. I think the last time I got raped as much as his friend did was probably over 15 years ago and not even to the same degree. (I bought a pre98 USPc at deli ticket land for like $900+ tax..... but that's a consignment gun so I can't even blame Deli ticket Emporium for that price. That's the price the consignee put on the gun.

I bought my Sig P220 Compact SAS from them shortly after arriving in MA and receiving my LTC. That was their old location that was a combo gun shop, import and classic motorcycle shop, and barber shop if I recall correctly. Pricing was normal free state level and the odd combination actually gave it a cool vibe. They had one of the Paul Smart Ducati tribute bikes there-

Of course if you know where to go at the Mill, you can still get the guns and bikes vibe there. I've spent much more at the Mill.

I almost forgot. I did warn him about them a few weeks ago.

He was looking for a range and lives in the area. I gave him a quick run down of GP. He probably forgot as he’s new and just thought maybe I had an ax to grind.

Similar. Picked up a P220 Scorpion at the cool shop, and a P227 at the new place. That was before the weirdness. No regerts.

Shit happens, I got raped hard when I first got into guns but I didn't really have anyone to tell me anything, I thought you were close with the guy and he just went on a safari without any questions asked.

I haven't been to the Gun Parlor since before my last pit stop at the Deli Ticket Emporium ( Paging @drgrant ) which was probably around 2013? but regardless I would never give them business because of their reputation here

I know of the previous issue woth gun parlor and yes they suck. However, I fail to see where the owner of an object....offering to sell that object at a specified price.......and a free man willingly paying the asked price for the object......is in any way a problem.

But I don't blame gp......as long as people come in and pay the price he's asking why lower the price?

I'm not defending gp at all based on their previous bs with Healey. They suck and I'll never go there.

Based on my reading of this thread

1. Guy warns buddy don't go to gp
2. 2 weeks later the buddy ignored the advice and went to gp
3. Gp has glocks offered for sale at high prices
4. Buddy (a free man) willingly pays the asking price.
5. Guy comes to nes to say "gun parlor still bad they f***ed my buddy"

I look at it this way......a guy didn't listen to his buddy's advice......went into a shop and freely paid a silly high price for a gun......the buddy is silly.

That's all that happened here.
