Same old argument...

I love this quote from the article:

"The scariest part is that you're removing the duty to retreat. That's really there to preserve life," said Hamilton. "And if you take someone's life you should have to answer to the police. ... No one is in jail right now for protecting their family."

A DUTY to run away? How about a God given right to DEFEND!

"No one is in jail right now for protecting their family."

That's a scary statement! So if I protect my family, then I should go to jail? What's this person going to do?

Famous Line from George Carlin of things you'll never hear:

"Do what you want with the girl, but leave me alone!"

Maybe she'd prefer that sentiment instead?

I'll never get it, never will, and I think I've stopped trying.

Retreat....
Reminds me of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. When they meet the "bunny", RUN AWAY!!!! RUN AWAY!!!!

"And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, 'O Lord, bless this Thy hand grenade that, with it, Thou mayest blow Thine enemies to tiny bits in Thy mercy.' And the Lord did grin, and the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths and carp and anchovies and orangutans and breakfast cereals and fruit bats and large ... And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then, lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.'"
