Some would see that and criticize China for human right violations. I think, no matter the country, if you threaten another's life, you forfeit your human rights. I'd gladly accept the same fate if I ever lowered myself to that level. It should be universal.
Except the UK. any type of self defense as a response to any type of violent attack will land you in jail. It's a shame they are so backwards, the land if socialists is a visually beautiful place.
I'm actualy happy that the UK has it so bad. Its such a great example of how things dont work when you run it like they do.

As an aside, I'd say that I feel bad for the people I know who live there, but for some reason, the ones I've actually talked to about it seem to agree with it and think that I'm a crazy American.
