many think the town closed our range, not true! In fact we have one of the longest ranges in the northeast even without the 1000yd range. Targets from 100 - 500 yds including target boards, steel targets, and PRS props. Several pistol bays out to 50 yds. Extensive indoor and outdoor archery ranges, No waiting list, reasonable dues. I'm interested. I'll probably sign up due to range length and that I support the mission. I think there should be a full length range in MA, it's a civil rights violation what other people are doing, and it's also a shonda that we don't have one.
Some of my SC friends tease me. "100 yard range?" they say. "You mean, like, in your back yard?" they say.
That said, I'm an hour and a half away. Your matches start at 9:30am, which hurts my heart at the thought of getting up before 11.
I feel like I need some additional reason to make the jaunt. I need some persuasion to join. Maybe, a little bit of a sales pitch.
You don't have to sell me on the club, that's what puts it on the table.
Sell me on the lush town of Granby, its charming denizens, and the surrounding quaint townships. e.g.
Can I get a good meal?
Is there something there that I don't know about, but should definitely put on my bucket list?
Are all the girls out in western MA conservative, flannel wearing night stalking bow huntresses? Or, at least, gun culture 2.0 loving booth babes?
Presuming not, is there at least a decent bar (for after) with a really pretty single barmaid (for after the after).
(all in good fun, just to see what you can come up with, I've never been to that area at all)
