If you renew a LTC and are awaiting the new license can you purchase or transfer a firearm? I got a receipt from the PD for submission. The letter says that "The current card/license will remain valid after the expiration date of the card/license until the application for renewal is either approved or denied." But a LGS tells me it is only valid to purchase ammunition. You can't transfer a firearm.
