Good place to catch shiners W. Mass. ?

Does anyone know a good place to catch baitfish like minnows and shiners near Springfield? I’ve tried a couple small streams but only caught a few minnows in my trap. Any ponds or rivers around here loaded with minnows?

Most guys aren't going to give up their spots. Make sure the bait fish you do harvest are legal to use as well. I'd try anywhere guys ice fish frequently because I bet a lot of shiners get turned loose
