Had a real fine day at BR&P on Saturday.

Had an opportunity to meet gail-s and talk with her at length. She hasn't been on the forum for quite a while, but hopefully she'll return.

My Wife had an opportunity to shoot a .22 revolver with SAS and later her own .38Sp revolver. One problem she had was that the cover to the range controls fell off and hit her on the head! Deena was steaming mad after that. Club management has been advised and hopefully will check all the covers and ensure that they are secured and it doesn't happen again.

Regrettably, I didn't get to meet with Michael deBethencourt since he was unable to make it to Braintree on Saturday. We'll reschedule that to discuss having him offer defensive tactics training to NES members.

Later as I started to clean the guns a member offered up his AimPoint Comp for $40.00 . . . score! [twisted] [lol]

Please accept my public apologies. To say that I was real tired when I wrote the original post at 2AM would have been a gross understatement! So I forgot about our very pleasant conversation when I wrote what I did. mea culpa!

Yes, Gail-s is an experienced shooter (and a BR&P member) and told me that due to the size of the SAS crowd, she departed the group and took herself over to the new range to shoot. She "recognized me" and reminded me that she and I had conversed via Email before (she's right, but I didn't remember) and we were chatting up a storm (which also included one other man) in the indoor range for well over an hour. I noted that she hasn't revisited this forum since ~September. I hope she'll rectify that situation. She's a very nice lady, as you are too.

It was very good to get to talk with you and put the face to the username.
 
Deena never gave me a straight answer when I asked her if she was OK. She was just very angry about the occurrence.

I suspect that she's fine, just upset.
