Went out with my BIL and son yesterday evening. My BIL it was his first time ever hunting. I think he did fine.
He Used my 7mm.
Dressed out at 270.

Maybe tonight we can get the one beating him up.

I've never hunted bears but last night one hunted my garbage. The fuquer dragged my trash barrel about a hundred yards into the woods, gnawed some holes in the lid and left a trail of nastiness across my yard. Same one (I think) comes around a couple of times a year. Big old female. Last spring she brought two cubs along for garbage training.

Well done and a nice bear. Can’t wait to see the rug and sausage 😆

You guys are killing me
I said steaks chops and hamburg.
I totally spaced sausage.
I was tired....yeah that's it. :)

..

Nice bear - congrats.
May I suggest a new phone ;)
Hey brother you may
It was dusk by the time I got him brave enough to go near it.
Had a lot of work still to do after.
Too lazy to edit....sad but true.
Besides I'm not dead and still buying up guns and ammo.

I'm not wasting money on a phone :)

But for you I went the extra mile :)

That's a big negative
I do hunt by cornfields
This one was situated perfectly.
Corn all along the river.
Road they cross to get to it.
Hillside they run along to get to crossing point.
Nice.

Pretty much the only way to hunt bear in MA. Sit on, or on the way to corn or apple orchards and hope the bear aren't noctournal.......
