It amazes me that parents are allowing these POS to use their children in an exploit manner like we've seen over the last few days truly amazing.

Sounds like MA gubernatorial candidate Jay Gonzalez wants to drive the (mostly high-paying, revenue generating) Smith & Wesson jobs out of Massachusetts.

Bob Massie, another Democrat running for governor, said he supports Gonzalez's proposal. "I support the proposed ban on the manufacture and sale of assault weapons to civilians...

A spokesman for Democrat Setti Warren, another candidate for governor, said the former Newton mayor's campaign did not have any comment on Gonzalez's proposal.

Gov. Charlie Baker's re-election campaign did not directly address questions about whether the governor would back a manufacturing ban, instead reiterating Baker's support for a federal assault weapons ban.

"Governor Baker is proud that Massachusetts is a national leader on gun control, and believes the federal government should quickly enact meaningful reforms to keep our communities safe, including an assault weapons ban," campaign spokesman Billy Pitman said
So business as usual in Massachusetts politics.

It'd be a shame if Smith & Wesson had to move. Suggestion: There are 24 other states with a town or city named "Springfield" in case S&W wants to maintain the tradition while not supporting a state that clearly doesn't support them.
