Going to NH statehouse on Saturday

I've never been to a rally, I don't have a sign, I have no idea what to do.

Am I gonna be the only one standing there?

Also.....am I just gonna stand there?
 
Looking at trying to take Saturday off to go....since I'm El Jeffe' in my department, it shouldn't be a problem, but need to make sure nothing comes up in the meantime[grenade]

HI Folks,

I'll make this short and sweet. Our 2nd Amendment rights are under attack. Only this time, our gun grabbing President and Vice President, as well as many anti-gun folks in Congress plan to go the entire route. Joe Biden has made it clear that President Obama plans on using Executive Orders to help accomplish his goal. This can only mean that along with Diane Feinstein's gun control bill, Obama plans to double down and will certainly push for confiscation.

Let me make it clear: The 2nd amendment is the protector of the entire Constitution. It guarantees every individuals right to keep and bear arms. The reason for this is so that we the people will always have the means to overcome a tyrannical Government. This also means that we must have compatible weapons to those who would be our oppressors. That is why we need semi-automatic weapons. Hell, even those weapons do not compete with the fully automatic weapons carried by those who would try and disarm us. So, in short, if we lose the right to keep and bear arms we lose it ALL.

Obama and his minions know this. He knows that he cannot complete his ideologic Marxist plans to turn America into another Socialist 3rd world Country, unless he disarms us. So, with this in mind, Jerry Delemus and the Rochester 912 Group, along with myself and the Granite State Patriots Liberty PAC, are sponsoring a "Defend Your Right's Rally on Thursday,January 31st in front of the Statehouse in Concord from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Please make this your top priority. Take the time off from work to be there. We need a HUGE turnout to make our statement. This is the Live Free or Die State and New Hampshire should take the lead. More info will be forthcoming including the list of speakers who will be there. In the meantime, send this out to your entire list. Send it to friends and family in Maine and Massachusetts. Our Liberty and Freedom are at stake.

Where: Statehouse, Concord

When: Thursday, January 31st

Time: 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Let's show the Country that we have drawn our line in GRANITE (Jerry's phrase).

The rally on the 31st needs support. If this is a bust, we are in trouble. Make every effort to be there.

You won't be alone. I'm going. Not sure if any of my friends will go. Seems I'm the only one in my group who cares. I've never done a rally before either, they usually always happen on a weekday and I really haven't been able to take the day off. Until March I can't use vacation time I have accrued (6 month period b4 I can use it) so it is good this is on a Saturday.

Will be there on the 31st if works approves my time off but we need to get better at this. All these small rallies might end up hurting us.

What will hurt us is thinking we can just go to one and we've done our part. Rallies are just the start and will help you meet the people you will need to work with to do more.

No, I just think it might show the antis that we can't come up with numbers... and that we are just the crazies.

Again, this is a circular problem, we don't think we can get the numbers so we don't go and look like "crazies" so we don't get the numbers.

The only way out of that loop is to stop worrying about "them" and do your thing. Stand up for what you believe in regardless of what "they think about us." They are never going to agree with us 100% because our view forces them to grow up, take responsibility, accept the world is a dangerous place and they are the only one tasked with keeping themselves and their loved ones safe. That's not fun, particularly if you have been led to believe there is an alternative (there is not), it is scary.

So, we need to stop worrying about converting them and just focus on demanding that they respect our rights. I think we also need to work on offering the same courtesy where their rights are involved, even when it hurts.

What's going on on the 31st? I am certainly going to do all that I can, like I said, I have ties to both states, so I need to see them both stay free (or get that way in the case of MA [wink]).

We should focus on one rally with big numbers. So far I know of three rallies and I think this is going to reduce our numbers on each. This just underlines what our problem has always been. A lack of unity.
