I have a chance to go on my first elk hunt this fall in Colorado with a friend.... I currently have a .300 Weatherby and I reload...
What bullets do you guys recommend?
TIA

Any good brand really should be fine that you have reloading info for.

I'd see what loads are out there then buy the bullets from there.

I've had good luck on deer with plain old Sierra.

Go on long range hunting forum. Tons of real world reviews. I don’t know the details but a buddy said that some of the big names don’t always work as well as the ads say. Or don’t work at all.
I believe the Nosler accubonds are still highly regarded

I'd go with a relatively heavy bullet in the 180-200 grain range.
I swear by TBBC bullets.
The style may vary on your anticipated longest shot.

I shoot 300 Weatherby and have a lot of the old style federal premium ones with 200 grain TBBC bullets if you want to try some factory ones. It could be arranged.

I’ve taken at least a dozen elk with Nosler partition in a 6.5 Swede (143 grn). I’ve also had very good success with the Hornady ELD-X
