Recently purchased a Glock 19 MOS and mounted an RMR on it. After a few range trips with it I'm sold on having an RDS on a pistol. I have a lot of rounds through my Gen 3 19 and have become proficient with it, but I'm already shooting much tighter groups with the MOS. The one issue I'm having is sometimes on the draw it takes me a second to find the dot. I understand having suppressor height sights can help with this. I want to purchase a set but I only want them to barely be visible over the base of the RMR, or a lower 1/3 cowitness at the most. Anyone have a similar setup?

I too am sold on an RMR atop my Glock. I actually had the slide milled and I'm using suppressor height sights. Check out Suarez International for MOS compatible sights. They did my slide work and I have also purchased a complete slide since then. I am nothing but satisfied.

I just recently picked up daweson precision suppressor height sights with the tritium inserts (off of amazon) for my glock 34 MOS that has a Trijicon RM06 Type 2 on it and they cowitness. Tim at G&N installed the Daweson's for me while i waited. I believe the rear sight required a little bit of fitting to get on. This set up appears to be more than the lower third though which i am not thrilled about but thats my fault on picking the wrong sights. Side note Tim at G&N did very clean job on installing the sights and a great job on a trigger He replaced on my rem 700 30-06. He replaced the factory rem trigger for a Timney trigger which i love. Highly recommend giving them a try if your down his way and are loooking for a gunsmith. He works out of Gartman Arms and has very far pricing.

I have a 17 MOS with an RMR on top, and a set of Trijicon suppressor sights. They are not a 100% co-witness, but I would maybe say a lower 1/3. They dont get in the way if you just want to look at the dot. I'll take a picture later.

This is exactly what I'm looking for. If you can post a picture that would be very helpful. Thank you!

Any truth to the rumor that these sights have a cyclic life span? I've heard of people having trouble after as little as 1500 cycles? Comments?

I see my pictures.

I also havent heard a 1500 round issue. The type 2's are supposed to be an improvement in reliability over the original RMR's so we'll see.
