Glock giggle switches on Channel 25 tonight

For reference, this image of a G18 comes directly from the Glock euro site. Note that the selector is on the slide, not the backplate.

It stands to reason they wouldn't make adapters like the ones discussed in this news article.

That an unscrupulous manufacturer would label them with information like "Glock" and "Austria" is not an unreasonable idea.
Amazing all that engineering and money Glock spent to make sure only the G18 can be full auto. But enter China and a $5 dollar part and the masses can now play too.
Sadly though the left is more concerned about keeping the giggle switches off the street but neglecting the fentanyl killing 100k Americans every year.

well it is February, "sweeps week" so in the news rooms all the hyperbole "if it bleeds it leads" stuff they have been sitting on comes out

Tonight WFTX Ch 25 is doing a story about the proliferation of Glock "switches" and how all these illegal machine pistols are out on our streets.

Well, I still hadn't seen the coverage. Is this another back door effort to ban/register threeD printers?

WTF is the Cambridge deputy chief spouting about "door knocking" and "potentially could possess firearms", šŸ¤”

The media uses the term "Giggle Switch" again in a report about a double murder in Worcester:

Between 2012 and 2016, police departments in the U.S. found 814 conversion devices and sent them to the ATF. That number grew to more than 5,400 between 2017 and 2021, according to the agencyā€™s most recent data.

That's only the number they found, makes me wonder how many are really out there today.
