Glock born date

OK don't roll your eyes yet. I bought a gen4 glock 19 and was trying to figure out when it was born. The serial number starts with RAP. Before I called glock I thought I would ask. Thanks.

I checked a few public sources like this one I've used but the info stops at P serial nimbers & you need R. It's obviously new. Perhaps too new to get the birth date without calling Glock.
You might be able to join the TopGlock forum or others and get your answer. They might have a more up to date database.

Why?

Its a Gen 4, they just came out a year ago. End story.

If its a Gen3 or 4 they are post-98 and verboten for sale by a dealer in Mass.

Worried because you got it from a dealer? Shhhh. Its not your problem. Enjoy the gun.

It didn't come from dealer, personal sale. I like to know the birth date of my glocks.

Look at the fired shell casing thing that comes with the gun. That's when the gun was packaged up domestically. That's a pretty good indicator.
