Greetings. I just purchased a Glock 27 which I want to make my carry pieace. Any recommendations for an IWB Holster that allows me to dry and re-holster without issue. Reason is I'd like to practice at the range with my firearm and i'd like to do that in the situation i intend to use it for which is self defense.

I have a couple of holsters for my Glock 23 and holstering and drawing just seems to be a pain. Was hoping someone had some experiance on a good one to buy.

Thanks

Milt sparks versa max 2. I am a huge Fan. You can check their website to see if any of their stocking dealers have one in stock. Otherwise, you will be in for a bit of a wait. I don't think you will disappointed though.

Another good bet (w/o the 6-9 month wait) is the Milt Sparks Summer Special 2 from Brownells. They carry "off-the-shelf" stock for most of the Glock and 1911 line of guns for this holster model. If you are LE or have a CR FFL, you get ~15% discount on this product and you'll have it in hand within 1 work week.

I highly reccomend the Blade Tech NANO IWB holster. I use one for my G26 and another for my G30SF. Not the fanciest thing but extremely convenient and has a cant adjustment as well as an adjustment for the belt loops. It's a great holster that is easy to install/remove quickly if needed. The mouth of the holster stays open completely which makes re-holstering a breeze. You can also adjust the retention of the holster with a screw, to suit your preferences.

Basically the NANO IWB is a logical progression of something like the MS Summer Special that Len is talking about. Those are good holsters, too, but after owning a couple of NANOs for almost a year now, I can't see myself ever going back to leather.

I've been carrying a G27 in a crossbreed for about a year. Love it. It also fits my 23, and the 29. I'm guessing it would fit all block models.

I found an inexpensive alternative to the VMII line on eBay. Check out Winthrop Holsters. I just ordered one for my G30SF, should be here soon, and I'll shout out a review. It looks similar to the milt sparks, and has a mouth retention. $55.00 plus $7.95 shipping.

Just got it in the mail today. Not sure what to think yet. I am wearing it now, but don't think i like it too much. Anyone else here have a holster from Winthrop?

I like my Armordillo Concealment holster. I currently have it set up as a tuckable, but you can get hardware for OWB, regular IWB belt loops, and both C and J hooks for tuckable IWB. I, like Mike, don't think I'll ever use a leather holster ever again.
