Have the Pink Pistols contacted our gay AG and asked her to speak to your members about why the Commonwealth does not support self defense/carrying a firearm for personal protection? This would seem to me to be a perfect opportunity for Maura to show some support for the gay community and list her reasons for gays not owning firearms for personal protection. She used the Pulse nightclub shooting to justify her AWB/decree so she should be able to explain her stance on gun control/gun legislation to your members.
Have you tried contacting the anti-gun Boston Globe and asked them to run a story on the Ma. chapter of the Pink Pistols? Try contacting Nestor Ramos, he's been writing some anti-gun articles lately.
