It was pretty good, I was kind of confused by how the characters related to each other, but I was reading/posting on here while I was watching, haha. A lot better than Camelot on Starz.

I was also doing things here and there while watching the show so I plan on watching it again tonight with my wife because she missed it last night. Takes me a few times of watching to get everyone straight when I first start watching a new series anyway.
Love the fact that HBO puts their shows on OnDemand the next day.

My parents DVR'd it. We usually do Sunday dinner with them, and watch the current Sunday-night HBO thing afterwards, but couldnt make it this past Sunday.

Camelot isn't impressing me. I'm holding judgment of GoT until I see another episode or two. It could go either way.

Yea, it's getting weird too, wtf is up with that Morgan chick? She died and then was reborn as Arthur's mother? I don't like the guy they have playing Arthur either.

My wife read the books, but we haven't started on the show yet.

Now that Bill Henrickson's no longer with us, we'll see....

Was very excited to see this made, and I think the first episode lived up to the hype. It's early yet, but I'd put this on par with my OTHER favorite HBO series (Deadwood).

I am anxiously awaiting my copy of Dance with Dragons... though I heard GRRM is continuing to update it through press time, so god knows if it'll be released on time. [rolleyes]

I am certain this will be better than the past season of walking dead. If anyone hasn't seen it yet, there is a short preview of the upcoming season from the game of thrones website. The interviews with the actors really got me excited for this season.

Any shops sell King Joffery targets for the range? Could be a good alternative to those zombie targets...

Season premier was great. If last nights episode was to set the pace for the season, where going to be in for a great one.

My only concern will be keeping a handle on all the divergent story lines...even in the book it's difficult. Rob's one place, Arya another, Snow's off North of the Wall, the crippled kid is back home, and Mom's going walkbout. Then there's the fun in King's landing, and the Baratheon Brothers each raising an army.
Oh, and let's not forget Daneris and the kittens.....

Even in the book, when it jumps from one storyline to another, the events may be several months apart....

my "fear" is that it's such a broad story, it'll be difficult to put it in the small screen.

That being said, Tyrion is the [little] Man! [laugh]
