GA - Security Guard Kills Armed Robber In Shootout

A security guard shot and a killed an armed robber who wasn’t satisfied with the amount of cash he was able to take from a College Park hotel, police said.

Police said a masked man walked into the Quality Inn Suites on Old National Highway at about 2 a.m. Friday, jumped over the counter and demanded money from the night clerk.

Hotel owner Ramesh Bhagat told Channel 2’s Tom Jones the clerk handed over $150, but the robber demanded more money.

"He asked for more money, but we said 'We don't have more money,' because we do all business by credit card," said Bhagat.

The gunman then took the hotel clerk to a back room.....
