Then you have to source the 922r parts to make it legal. And the mags are $75 each. And, of course, the $200 stamp. That's a fair bit for an SBR.

You'd have a quality semiauto 7.62 rifle that until now has been impossible to buy in the USA. Some people are content with a home built AR15, 10/22, and a G19. This isn't marketed to those people.
