Not sure if this is the right place to post but a local gun shop.... Collectable Arms and Ammo in Merrimack NH is selling 1000 rds of Golden Tiger 7,62 x 39 for $229. That's the cheapest price for Golden Tiger I've seen in a long while! I know a lot of people here like/shoot the stuff and its hard to get. I just bought a case of it and thought I'd pass the word out to the forum in case others were looking for some.

Collectable's is THE place that feeds my SKS's diet of ammo. Never had any issue with Golden Tiger ammo. The SKS is spoiled because it never even tasted Wolf or Tula stuff.

That's one hell of a deal. I still got 2 unopened cases of GT and half a case of Brown Bear so I'm set for a bit. Thanks for the heads up!

This is the price at which you buy all you can afford. It never gets cheaper than this, and this is the best bulk ammo in this caliber, IMHO.

Was just in there today...they have a deal going on Golden Tiger 7.62 x 39!!!

-- loaded in 30 cal ammo cans (500r ds) $139.99
-- loaded in 50 cal ammo cans (1000 rds) $249.99..
--- they are also selling the 1000 rds cases for $235.

Those ammo cans are great ...didn't think that much ammo could fit into a can!

I actually emailed them yesterday asking if they had any more Golden Tiger 1000rd cans. They said yes. I'm heading up tomorrow. I need to feed my new Sam 7. I hope to be picking that up at NE Arms tomorrow as well. [smile]

you will like it especially after it smooths out. My Sam and Polish are Very Very smooth actions.

Anyone been to Collectable recently, know if they're still selling Golden Tiger?

So funny you ask as I did a collectable, SO, and Rileys run today since I left work early. I grabbed a 1k round case of GT. There was one case left on the shelf but I'm sure Keith has more outback.

You suck. [laugh] Looks like I better call before I take the ride. [wink]

Haha I'm sure he's got more outback. Also just wanted to note the cases aren't $230 like this thread title. $250, which of course is a great price.

Good to know. Thanks. I just sent another message to make sure I don't drive up for nothing.$250 is still good.

Do you mind post case price for .223 and 9mm at collectable? Want to check if it worth driving up north. Thanks

That I can't tell you as I reload those calibers so I don't check prices. Give them a call tomorrow, they always answer the phone.

$250 is a great price in 2016 dollars...

Funny, I was on my way up there, but the wait at Granite State range was so long I ran out of time. Some frat guys rented a full auto SCAR.
