French policeman accidentally shoots female colleague dead in 'gun-drawing game'

Guess they didn't get the memo from Colonel Cooper -

  1. All guns are always loaded.
  2. Never point the gun at anything you are not willing to destroy.
  3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target.
  4. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.

A 27-year-old policewoman was shot dead by a colleague in Paris when the pair were reportedly playing a game of drawing their guns on each other and one weapon went off by accident.

At least he'll sleep at night knowing that he didn't actually F up and pull the trigger or anything.

Oh man, stay way from those guns that just go off. Thank god we the people in this state have a list to protect us.

I can total see how someone could accidentally remove their handgun from a holster, raise it up, point it at a colleague’s head, and pull the trigger. Could happen to anyone.
